Yessssss! This is so awesome!…and so sad that they would actually say no American flags..WHAT?! The wall in my room is a big ol American flag and my dad’s drag car is painted like one too. We believe in what this country was built on and hope it’ll eventually make its way back to it. Besides things like slavery and unequal rights of course.

Laurie sent me snaps of her busmates: kids who were singing Disney songs as they prepared to be beaten and arrested. So I drew them.

It is time for us to take pride in our country again! That’s not to say be proud of the stupid things that politicians are doing these days, but of all the wonderful benefits and freedoms that come with being an American. It should be an honor to sport the red, white, and blue. We can make this country great again, and it can start by supporting companies that make their products here. Especially the small businesses out there, working their asses off to try and make something of themselves and a better future for their families. Isn’t that what this country is about?
Let’s be bold and take steps to make a change for the better here in America! Even though we may have our differences, everyone here calls this place home. Let’s love like we are all part of the same family because we are! Maybe one day America will find its self again. We just have to get back to our roots.
